Fun Fact or Story: I started Nordic skiing for a chocolate lollipop. My older sister was participating in a Bill Koch race in Bethel, ME when we were kids and all the racers got a big chocolate moose shaped lollipop at the end of the race. I really wanted one so my Mom told me I'd have to participate in the race next year to get one and sure enough I started racing the next season. Throughout my racing career, my Mom always brought one of those chocolate moose pops to my big races as my ultimate finishing prize.
