Favorite local outdoor destination(s): The Adirondacks - hiking the high peaks and skiing in Lake Placid.

Fun Fact or Story: While in Sweden racing in the master's cross country skiing World Cup, I took advantage of the hotel's sauna - all ages, all genders. When the heat becomes too much, one steps outside to roll in the snow - next to the road with traffic and pedestrians. Such a different attitude towards nudity compared to the U.S.!
