Skirack Bike Service Workshop Series. 3 Classes starting August 6.

Skirack's Workshop Series is a 3-part bicycle learning experience ideal for those looking for fundamental bicycle knowledge. Classes start Tuesday, August 6th.

  • Cost: 1: $25, 2: $40, 3: $60
  • Group size: 6-12
  • Each class is subject to cancellation if less than 6 sign up
  • A bike will be provided for demonstration
  • All classes will be held in Skirack's service department (FREE parking behind the store)
  • Refund with 48 hours notice

Class 1: Basic Bike Maintenance 101
Tuesday, August 6 | 6:30-8:30PM

Applicable to any kind of bike/cyclist, this class aims to provide an opportunity to learn about entry-level bicycle maintenance and solidify your understanding of bike fundamentals and basic adjustment. This class will cover how to change a tire, derailleur and brake adjustment, and bicycle cleaning/upkeep.


Class 2: Roadside/Trailside Bike Repair
Tuesday, August 20 | 6:30-8PM

Most applicable to road/gravel cyclists, this class aims to strengthen your confidence working on roadside repairs for your bike. This class covers changing and repairing tubes/tires, reinstalling chains, and creating the perfect emergency saddle bag.


Class 3: Mountain Bike Fundamentals
Tuesday, September 3 | 6:30-8PM

Most applicable to mountain bikers at any level, this class provides an opportunity to learn how to customize your own mountain bike or gather information for purchasing in the future. This class will include a basic overview of mountain bikes, suspension setup fundamentals, an introduction to best customization methods for your bike, and a mountain bike upkeep guide.

* PLEASE BRING YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE TO CLASS 3 FOR HANDS ON LEARNING.
