More Cross Country Ski Gear + Accepting Used Winter Outerwear
First, we’ve acquired a large collection of new cross-country ski gear from the Adirondack Mountain Club’s Cascade Welcome Center, in Lake Placid, NY which will be available for purchase at a discounted rate. Second - by popular request - we’re now accepting select winter outerwear as part of the swap. More info in our FAQs.
What is Winter Swap?
Winter Swap is a community driven, consignment sale event. You can buy, sell or both! Aligning with our mission of inspiring our community to pursue a lifetime of outdoor activity and environmental stewardship, we facilitate finding new homes for winter gear that would otherwise sit in a basement or garage or end up in a landfill.
What gear can I find at Skirack's Winter Swap?
You'll find great deals of new and used cross-country skis, downhill skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, poles, snowshoes, ski rack carriers, roller skis and Nordic skates. Plus, outerwear which includes: ski/snowboard jackets, shells, bibs, pants as well as Nordic soft shell jackets and pants.
Got winter gear or outerwear to sell?
The seller prices the items in a consignment-like sale. Using an online intake form, choose between 70% in the form of a check or 100% in-store credit if your item(s) sell. Store credits are valid at Skirack and Patagonia Burlington. There is an option to put your item(s) at a discount on Sunday (if it doesn't sell on Saturday).
If your item sells, store credits are available Monday, Jan 19 at 10am and checks for pickup on Monday, Jan 19 at 2pm.
