Experienced Alpine Ski Sales Associates Plus

Job Type: PT (15 - 30 hours with required weekends)   

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Store Manager

Overview: We are  looking for several highly qualified and skilled alpine ski outfitters. A large part of this job will be boot fitting and the applicant should feel comfortable in all parts of alpine outfitting including custom boot work. Experience is a must. We will give preference to individuals who also have experience with cycling, running and clothing to support our other seasonal businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service to every visitor.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right alpine ski, boot, and binding gear based on their needs and experience level.
  • Provide boot fitting assistance to ensure comfort and proper sizing.
  • Keep the store and related areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Ensure sales floors, displays, and fitting areas are visually appealing and functional.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
  • Provide coverage in other areas of the business as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of alpine ski equipment, boots, and accessories.
  • Minimum expectation would be 15 hrs./week. Days and hours of work vary depending upon the needs of the business. Weekends and occasional nights are required.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and managed time effectively and contributed to department performance goals.
  • Must be able to use computers, Internet, POS and phones daily. Prior experience working in retail with Lightspeed POS is a plus. 
  • Must be able to safely lift/carry/drag 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand up to 7+ hours. (Reasonable accommodations will be considered)
