Since 1988, Skirack's Bike Swap has been a weekend rooted in community, connection, and giving bikes and gear a second life. Skirack is proud to host the largest bike swap in Vermont!
What is Bike Swap?
Bike Swap is a community driven, consignment sale event. You can buy, sell or both! Aligning with our mission of inspiring our community to pursue a lifetime of outdoor activity and environmental stewardship, we facilitate finding new homes for bikes and gear that would otherwise sit in a basement or garage or end up in a landfill.
What can I find at Skirack's Bike Swap?
You'll find great deals on quality used bikes, bike racks, child seats, trailers and more! Plus, we'll have new bikes, clothing and equipment on sale in-store.
Got a bike to sell?
We are looking for bikes and gear that are clean, modern, well maintained in good and usable condition. Bikes with broken pieces and department stores bikes will not be accepted.
The seller prices the items in a consignment-like sale. Using an online intake form, choose between 70% in the form of a check or 100% in-store credit if your bike(s) sell. Store credits are valid at Skirack and Patagonia Burlington. There is an option to put your item(s) at a discount on Sunday (if it doesn't sell on Saturday).
Information is subject to change.

You will experience a quicker intake by completing the intake form ahead of time. We do not have a kiosk available in the store. Once your form has been submitted, you'll receive a digital copy via email for your records.
Please note: We have the right to refuse any item that does not meet our quality standards or criteria.
We are happy to help with a final price once you bring your item into us, but the final decision is up to you. Please complete the online intake form first.
Maximum sell price should be at least 50% off the original MSRP or below and go down from there, depending on the item, age and wear and tear. Please also note there may be similar items in the swap, so we recommend that you price competitively.
A good resource for pricing a bike is bicyclebluebook.com
There is an option to discount your item(s) for swap day 2 on Sunday, if your item does not sell on Saturday.
After you’ve completed the online intake form, you can bring your items to Skirack April 27 - May 1 - Mon-Thurs: 10am - 6pm and Friday: 10am - 5pm. On the intake form, you will select a drop-off date. Please note Fridays are the busiest days, so Monday through Thursday is highly recommended.

An alternate parking lot entrance is available on lower Main Street, between Dirt Chic and Northern Lights.
