Developed as a go-to, ride-it-all deck, the Yes Basic has been refined over the years to the point that both pros and newbies reach for it on a regular basis. The UnderBite outline extracts more arc, more hold and a better carving experience out of every design Yes applied it to and the Basic was the genesis of it all.

- Full Poplar: YES's baseline core for tip to tail wood-core snowboard construction. Strikes a predictable balance between durability, consistent flex and light weight.

- UnderBite: Edges re-distribute a rider's weight in such a way that it enhances turning ease and edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area reduces and disrupts the surface area of the edge that has contact with the snow while the board is turning. This increases the edge pressure by distributing your weight/energy in the areas where you need it - from the binding out, and through the center of the board where the carving arc is taking place. This segmentation of the sidecut into 3 key zones focuses your body weight onto areas that initiate, hold and release turns.

- Extruded Base: Just like it says. This material is formed by extrusion. It's softer than Yes's other two bases, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. At the speeds many of us ride, this material is actually quicker (gets up to speed faster) than sintered when waxed correctly. You may have your own proof of this when you're smoking by someone with a dried out 'high-end' base. It also retains wax better because it's more porous and is easy to fix with a P-Tex stick if you get scratches in it.

Holiday Shipping Schedule
Due to dealer agreements, we currently only ship to addresses in the United States.
Skirack currently ships items to all 48 contiguous states, Alaska, and Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. We also ship to Military APO / FPO addresses.
If your order meets or exceeds the amount advertised on the website, you qualify for free shipping. Choose the FREE delivery option (up to 10 business days) at checkout. This offer is valid for orders shipped to addresses in the 48 contiguous United States. The Free shipping option is not valid for orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or anywhere else outside of the lower 48 states. Free shipping orders will be shipped by the most appropriate method based on their physical size and destination. Some items such as bicycles are not available to be shipped and are only available to be picked up in our Burlington, Vermont store.
2-Day Delivery to Alaska and Hawaii may take three days. Next-Day Delivery is available only in the continental US. Next-Day Delivery to Alaska and Hawaii may take an additional 1-2 days.
All shipping methods do not deliver on weekends, but on business days (Mon-Fri).
We currently do not ship to International addresses.

Back Orders
Our store only displays items we have in stock, so back orders should not be an issue. If for some reason, you happen to order something that is not in stock, the item will be back ordered and you will be notified as soon as possible.
