Dalbello Lupo AX 120 Ski Boot 2021

The Dalbello Lupo AX 120 ski boot has a 100mm last that makes the legendary fit and performance of the Lupo's Cabrio design available to more skiers by offering a wider last. This crossover Freeride/Touring boot can be used equally well inside the resort or out. Tech inserts and a removable external tongue help you go up, and the legendary freeride performance of the cabrio design allows you to rip it up for the way down. Unlike overlap boots adapted for touring, where the lower shell is modified (weakened) to allow the boot to go into walk mode, with Dalbello's cabrio design the lower shell has the same design in both touring and non touring applications. The new IF AIR liner is thermo-formable for an optional instant break-in after just a few minutes of heating by the shop. Now available: GripWalk® soles with Vibram®!

  • Lupo Air: Being breathable and warm at the same time are the outstanding benefits of the IF AIR liner. Its medium density EVA foam wraps the foot instantly and can be fitted 80% to the feet's specific needs. Thanks to its flexible zones in the back part and the quick adjustable laces, the IF AIR is used especially in the Lupo line to support the skier during the hike up and the joyful run down.

  • Contour 4: The anatomical contours of the inside sidewalls of the boot-shell, as well as the innerboot lasts, are precisely "mapped" to the shape of the typical high performance skier's foot. A little extra "space" is molded into the inside of the boot shell at 4 critical fit points: ankle, heel, 5th metatarsal and navicular. Out of the box, Contour 4 Technology boots delivers all the comfort, precision, and control of a close fitting, low volume, high performance ski boots that have been "punched" and/or "stretched" by a custom bootfitter with minimal need for "punching" or "stretching".

  • Hyperband Wide Profile Cuff Closure: Low friction, wide profile shin pad closure securely wraps the upper part of the boot cuff with a wide profile, high leverage cuff closure buckle assembly. Smooth flexing design is highly shock absorbing for maximum boot-top comfort with no "Shin-Bang" or "Shin Bite".

  • Rang of Motion: Lupo Factory, Lupo Pro HD, Lupo 130 C, Lupo AX 120, Lupo AX HD and Lupo AX 90: 67° (40° forward lean, 27° backward lean) Lupo AX 105 W: 48° (35° forward lean, 13° backward lean) Since it is a touring boot, the forward lean is the most important part while hiking.

    • All Lupo models may be used with ISO 9523 Alpine Touring Norm bindings due to their tech inserts.
    • By changing the rockered soles to the interchangeable alpine soles the boots fit in all alpine bindings as well but are not certified ISO 5355.
  • GripWalk Outsole: GripWalk contains a new co-polymer sole with rocker profile. The convex shape and ribbed tread of the rubber add a lot of walking comfort and provide a much better grip. GripWalk soles are the perfect tuning parts designed for 90% of the Dalbello boot collection and don't require any height adjustment at GripWalk bindings.
