Ski Rack Inc. is delighted to announce a new partnership with U.S. Ski & Snowboard. Ski Rack Inc. supplied U.S. Ski and Snowboard with a Wintersteiger Race NC tuning machine that will be the foundation for the first ever proprietary, European-based ski grinding program for the Davis U.S. Cross Country Team.
This will enable technicians to optimize skis in a way to customize to both athlete preference and course specific weather conditions in Europe. The creation of this grinding program over the next Olympic quad will allow the program to better compete against other top nations, and allow U.S. athletes to demonstrate their true ability on the track. Chris Grover, Head Coach Davis U.S. Cross Country Team, reported, “We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Skirack for their partnership and their generous support of U.S. Cross Country ski racing.”
Ski Rack Inc. will create and showcase content which will include machine use, athlete and tech testimonials, and the potential to host community based, in-person events in Vermont.
“We are grateful for the contributions from our late partner, Spike Clayton, and many others who earned Ski Rack Inc. both National and New England Cross Country Retailer of the year awards that reflect our passion and commitment to the sport for every level of participant,” said Zandy Wheeler, co-owner, co-founder of Ski Rack Inc. “This partnership with U.S. Ski & Snowboard is an expression of our mission to inspire our community to a lifetime of outdoor activity and environmental stewardship.”
Family operated in Burlington, Vermont, and locally owned for over 50 years, Ski Rack Inc. is proud of the 13 Vermonters who recently competed in Beijing.
