A very stable three wheel ski that can handle rough terrain. Two 125SR wheels in back and a 150 clutch wheel in front. Very stable and perfect for dirt roads and rough pavement. The 125RC is for the skier who wants a classic ski with more stability and a very smooth ride.
The frame is made from light weight high tensile extruded aluminum. The cold pressed aluminum forks are now TIG welded to the frame and are 70 grams lighter than the original Aero. The assembly is finished with Red Baron powder coat paint and baked to a hard lustrous finish. The high pressure tires (90 PSI 6.3 Bar) are made with 6.5 plies of a special construction to
withstand the rigors of roller skiing. The tubes are fitted with Schraeder valves. The tires are mounted to three spoke high impact plastic wheel hubs. Nuts and washers are stainless steel and and all forks are fitted with stainless steel hardware.
The patented ATR Speed control system incorporates all of the features used on the smaller wheel 800 and 900 series, but the system on the Aero is effective. The ATR has a neutral position and four resistance positions. The ATR functions even in wet conditions. Materials for the ATR assembly are aluminum, stainless steel and nylon. The large black anodized aluminum lever is easy to grab and pivots on solid stainless steel pins. Nylon rollers and washers are used to reduce noise generated by vibration from skiing on rough surfaces.
