A full-throttle dart for high-speed mountain assaults or modern pipe expression sessions, the Arbor Crossbow is designed with a structural Ravenswood top, progressive shape, and advanced core that optimize energy - allowing you to load and release power on demand. Expect unmatched stability and a crisp, chatter-free ride whether railing the steeps or launching big transition.
Full Wood Topsheet: Works like a 3rd layer of fiberglass - during construction resin locks the dense wood fibers in place, creating a composite layer that structurally enhances a board, providing added return and durability, while allowing for important weight reduction.
- Base: Sintered base with Structurn finish
- Core: Poplar Wood Core: Poplar is still the best choice as a primary wood core mainly due to its combination of lighter-weight performance, durability, and availability.
- Diamondwood® Reinforced Rails; Diamondwood is compressed poplar and the hardest wood material available today. As such, it is an excellent replacement for endangered hardwoods. By adding it as the outside laminate to a full-length wood core, Arbor created load beams that provide quicker initiation and return, while reinforcing the sidewall for improved durability and impact resistance.
- Cork Damping Stringers; Cork is an incredibly renewable, natural insulator. By inserting tip-to-tail cork stringers between a core's laminates, Arbor created a system that dissipates vibration in the frequency that creates chatter. As a result, Arbor dampened the ride without deadening the flex. Instead of chatter you get usable energy.
- Fiberglass: Triax over triax fiber lay up
